ORIGIN:
Tablón de Gómez is a municipality in Nariño located close to the border of the Putumayo department. Pompeya is an isolated area once known for its poppy production, which Aleco from Red Fox first visited back in 2015. The remote location proved a logistical challenge when it came to reaching farms in time for harvest, so Aleco partnered up with Gildardo Chincunque. His El Durazno farm operates as a community hub and a parchment collection station for local producers. This lot comes direct from his stunning farm!

FLAVOUR:
El Durazno translates to peach and while Gilardo only grows coffee, the stone fruit reference perfectly reflects the cup’s crunchy and juicy fruit acidity. It opens on a floral  wave of orange blossom with a vivid tropical acidity that lands somewhere between pineapple and papaya. From orange juice the cup turns sweet, providing an array of toffee and honey notes.
