This is a ‘natural processed coffee’ meaning seeds dry with the cherry fruit intact. Abdul Sherif’s coffee is the perfect follow-up to our previous natural from Ismel Hassen. They share a enchanting burst of berry but whereas Ismel's went to lemon, Abdul’s coffee zips to lime. And rather than fruity caramel, this offering from Kossa Geshe finishes on creamy notes of milk chocolate. Summer might be over, but the sugary cup live on!
Abdul Wahid Sherif is the owner & operator of Kossa Geshe Estate. This is his ‘avocado block, named not for taste, but for the trees that provide shade for his coffee. Along with his agronomist Girma and the team at Crop To Cup (who purchased 100% of his harvest again this year), they continue to make massive improvements to warehouse storage, sanitation facilities, farming infrastructure and started education programs for children on the farm.
