Finca Los Arroyos has been in Felipe Martinez’s family for over 75 years. Spanning 265 hectares, the farm’s terrain is uniquely rocky and rough for coffee cultivation. Combined with the 10-year-old trees and multi-generational farming practices, the cup reflects the classic attributes of a La Libertad coffee with cake-like chocolate and rich caramelized sugars. However, given Felipe’s precise technique, the cup also surpasses expectations with a bright sparkling acidity. He uses a 28 hour fermentation with 5 days on concrete patios for this particular 'Lot #2'.
